Khokhloma is an old Russian folk craft that appeared in the 17th century in the village of Khokhloma. The word "Khokhloma" is Finno-Ugric. Khok means "white tree", most likely birch, and loma means "elevation". The dishes are made exclusively of wood, the honey-golden background or patterns cast a soft metallic sheen and in golden-red-black patterns, carry a piece of the sun. Three main colors are used - red, black and gold. The first symbolizes the sun, vital energy and joy, the second personifies strength and depth, and the last - luxury, wealth and the divine. The city has acquired wide world fame as one of the largest centers for artistic wood processing and Khokhloma painting. Since 1993, an icon painting workshop has existed on the basis of the Khokhloma Painting enterprise.

The hat is a black Russian Shapka with a red and gold Russian floral pattern on the top and trimmed with black fur.

The headscarf is a long vintage scarf done in a red and gold Russian floral pattern.  It is draped below the chin and then over the should in each direction.

The coat is a red military style coat with gold buttons and trim.  It has a V-neck with long black lapels decorated in a gold floral pattern; a red and gold Russian floral pattern front panel; and large black cuffs decorated in a gold floral pattern.

The skirt is a black full-length, A-line skirt with a large band across the bottom in a red and gold Russian floral pattern.

The boots are a black mid-calf boot with chunky heels, and decorated with a red and gold Russian floral pattern.

TARA's newest release is the Gold Khokhloma Handbag is available at the Shop and Hop running December 6th - January 5th.  This elegant handbag would be perfect for any formal, semi-formal, or fantasy occasion.  This unique red and black handbag is rectangular with a fold-over closure with a round clasp, a Russian floral design on the flap and sides, and a small strap on top with round gold anchors.  The handbag comes with holding animations for both hands.  There are 3 handbags included: 1 no animation, 1 left hand hold, and 1 right hand hold.  The handbag is sold separately from the Outfit.

INFINITY's newest texture release is Russ Ancient Winter 1 BOX is available at the Shop and Hop running December 6th - January 5th.  This is a unique Russian collection of 10 AI generated art textures of Russian Churches in the winter countryside.  These textures are great as photo backgrounds, decoration or framed art, etc.  These textures look perfect with 3x4m (prim size). This size is good to make nice photo with avatar proportions.

Miss Ireland has chosen the season of Autumn.  Autumn is the favorite season of the Irish.  The flag of Ireland is also made up of colors of autumn:  green, orange, and white.  Miss Ireland wrote a poem to describe autumn and her outfit’s inspiration.
Autumn
She comes from the end of the summer sun’s glow
In the new cooler breeze her auburn hair flows
For her entrance, the trees open their curtain of swirling leaves
She is vibrantly clad in oranges, reds, golds, and greens

Miss & Mr Elegance 2025 - 2nd Challenge - Kawaii

 

Miss Ireland, after Mexico, headed to visit her friend Suki in Tokyo, Japan.  Suki and Kitty are excited about their day in Harajuku, the center of Japanese street ware.  They woke up early and ate their breakfast of steamed rice and green tea.  They then dressed in their Kawaii style outfits with pastel colors, childlike motifs, and maximalist accessories. Kitty’s outfit was rainbows and unicorns while Suki’s was Hello Kitty.  Once in Harajuku, their first stop was the fashion district to get street clothes; especially sneakers.  After all that shopping, they headed to Cat Cafe MOCHA for refreshments and playing with kittens.  After which they captured their day in a photo with lots of fun stickers at a purikura.  Next was a trip to Yoyogi Park to watch all the people dressed in different types of Kawaii outfits.  To close out their day, they had dinner at the Pokeman Café.

ARKONA's newest release the Katrina Umbrella-Fan Collection. The umbrella is a beautiful black lace bubble umbrella brightly painted in a bold Mexican pattern; trimmed with black lace, sugar skulls, and tassels.  The Umbrella comes with three items: no pose, hold pose for L hand with skulls, and hold pose for L hand with fire flaming Skulls. The fan is a gorgeous Spanish style lace fan with black frame, boldly painted lace, and trimmed with black lace.  The fan includes three items:  no pose, hold pose for right hand, hold pose for right hand with a fanning animation.  This collection was designed to be accompanying accessories to the Katrina Dress Collection.  The collection consists of seven different colors:  Black, Blue, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow. Find the Fish's newest release is Campanilla Makeup.  This is a unique set of Katrina makeup worn for Dia de los Muertos.  It come with eight EvoX BOM layers full face makeup in:  Red, Rose, Violet, Blue, Teal, Green, Yellow, and Orange.  

Find the Fish's newest release is the Marigold Halo.  This divine halo is made up of an intricately detailed gold disc center surrounded by life like marigolds in various sizes with glowing rays.  This halo also rotates with a single click.  It is modifiable so you can have just a head halo or a full-size halo.  The halo can also be used as unique and animated wall art or rug.
