V-Twins has a new outfit, Chosen.  Chosen is a three piece outfit: top, jacket, and pants.  The top is a denim string bikini top.  The jacket is a short sleeve, denim, crop jacket.  The pants are distressed hipster denim jeans with a gold studded black belt.  Chosen comes in two options: patched and plain.  Chosen can be worn by standard and mesh avatars.  This outfit comes with:  system layers for all parts; Omega applier for the top; XXS, XS, S, M, L for the pants; and  XXS, XS, S, M, L for the jacket.

7 Deadly s{K}ins has a new sking Rood.  Rood is a gorgeous sking that is perfect for redheads, those who are Irish, and that a la natural girl who likes spending her time outside.  Rood is a smooth delicate skin with subtle shading and gorgeous freckles across the cheeks and the bridge of the nose.  Rood comes in two options:  freckles and no freckles.  It also comes in the following tones:  apricot, caramel, dew, oak, sand, taupe, and walnut.

SHOWCASE OUTFIT

This is a color palette. Each of you have an assigned color to style with. You must style a fashion Forward ECCENTRIC look picturesque of your country. No Formal gowns, You may use a long skirt however,  we do not want for it to look like a gown presentation.

INSPIRATION
----------------
For my showcase outfit, I was assigned the color Magenta.  What in the United States is Magenta?  I immediately thought of the gorgeous sunsets of the Southwest with its Magenta hues.  I decided to make a fashion forward Southwestern outfit.  I made the main body of the outfit the focal point in various hues of Magenta; with a layered hip skirt and halter top.  Like the brown earth tames the vibrant sunsets, I added a deep brown leather: fringed bolero jacket, bolero hat, and boots to balance the outfit. To complete that Southwest look, all my accessories are silver with turquoise; like that of the Navajo silversmiths.

NATIONAL COSTUME

 This first part of the finale is your "National Costume" challenge.  Researching your regions culture and regional highlights, we would like to see a lavish representation of your particular region.  We want to see your creativity, your collaboration, and of course staying away from any ostentatious nudity- we want to see this costume still reflect your style and persona that would make the people of that region proud of you.

INSPIRATION
----------------
My country is the United States of America.  Our national colors are red, white, and blue.  I used these colors as the palette for my costume.  Our national bird is the Bald Eagle; which is why I incorporated large Eagle wings.  The Miss Colour of Couture organization is about bringing awareness to women of color around the world.  I incorporated a look of our indigenous people, Native Americans, with the most portrayed appearance of a feather war bonnet, leather clothing, long hair in braids, and jewelry made of natural elements.

There are creatures from all over the world.  Vibrant in color with great tenacity.  Looking at your Countries and its creepy crawlers, let us see your styling of the most beautiful bugs in the world while bringing fashion forward.

Your aim is to create a high fashion and impressive outfit, with a wow factor.

Inspiration
-------------
My inspiration for this challenge was the Panther Spotted Grasshopper, which is found in Arizona and New Mexico in the United States.  This grasshopper can be seen from July through November.  This grasshopper is the most beautiful grasshopper I have ever seen with its lime green body with black spots and its delicate feet are light blue with black spot.  Its long elegant wings are a mystical translucent light blue.  There some edges of the legs that are a stark black and white banding.  The majestic head is lime green with black spots and its huge light blue eyes have black spots.  It has a pronounced banned collar of mostly light blue and black with some green.  Even with the sharp angles of its joints, this grasshopper has a certain grace and elegance.

V-Twins - Possesion & Florence / 7 Deadly s{K}ins - KOKO / PREY - Nosey Chain

 V-TWINS HAS MOVED.

As part of their move, V-Twins is offering some new outfits a low price.  One of these outfits is Possesion.  This is a gorgeous leather suit that can be worn to the boardroom, dinner, or dancing.  It comes with a fitted, plunging, v-neck jacket with an accent panel.  The skirt is a mini skirt with an accent panel.  Both pieces can be worn as a solid or with a black ascent panel (unless you chose black as your main color then the accent panel is red).  Both pieces have a texture HUD with seven color choices:  black, brown, hot pink, soft pink, white, blue, and red or RGB controls to create your own color choices.  Possesion comes in:  XXS, XS, S, M, L, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Slink.

7 Deadly s{K}ins has a new skin KOKO.  KOKO is gorgeous new skin based on the [AK] mesh Bento head Kumiko.  This skin has beautiful silky smoothness with lovely highlights, softly arched browns, lush full lips, and mysterious light smokey eyes.  KOKO comes in the following tones:  apricot, caramel, cotton candy, dew, sand, and taupe.  There is also a KOKO shape to compliment this lovely skin.

PREY's Junky Jewelry line has a new piece called Nosey Chain.  This is an elegant piece with lovely diamonds set in gold in a graceful swag that runs from the nose to the earlobe with circular attachment points.  This fashion forward piece will go great with businessware, eveningware, and formalware.

A seemingly upstanding Motion Picture Film Producer and all around charming woman, she was the last person anyone would suspect of running a thievery ring, but that’s what made her so good at it.  Making off with millions while tipping her hat to the unsuspecting victim, she had the most successful operation in any major city.

Style a luxe, old-fashioned look for the leader of a thievery ring of a Major City

Background Story
---------------------
Upon reading the styling brief a few key points just really stood out.  The first was Motion Picture.  That is the term used when movies first came out in the 1900’s and with sound in the 1920’s and 1930’s.  The next was Film Producer.  The Producer is the person with all the money.  The next was Major City.  The major cities in the US in the 20’ and 30’s were New York and Chicago.  So, 1920’s-1930’s, millions of dollars, Chicago/New York, leader of a thievery ring brought one image to mind: Gangsters like Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel, and John Dillinger.  These men were known for wearing black or pinstriped suits, ties, fedoras, and wing tip shoes.

It's almost time for the biannual Catwalk Trunk Show.  The fall fashion shows are on September 30 - October 1 at 10am and 4pm SLT each day.  Here is a sneak peak of one of the exclusives.  This outfit is Melted Crayons by Vann Underwood.  With Fall just around the corner and that little nip in the air, Melted Crayons is a soft warm fashion forward outfit for those walks along the beach, evening outside dinners, or just watching the sunset with your loved one.  Melted Crayons is a multiple colored gradient mini, long sleeve, sweater dress with a matching fur collar and yellow tights.  The dress comes in XXS, S, M, L; the collar comes in:  XS, M, L, XL; and the tights come with an Omega applier.
