Tomasz, Jacek, and Jan lived by ferrying people over a river. Tomasz and Jacek were greedy, and Jan was generous.
One day, an old man asked Tomasz to be ferried across the river. Tomasz refused; seeing only an empty purse for his fare. The next day, he asked Jacek; who refused. The third day, he asked Jan; who agreed. He gave Jan the purse saying, “shake the purse and it will fill with gold.”
The brothers stole the purse and went on extravagant journeys. Unfortunately, they met their deaths. Jan became poor again; having only the ferry.
One day, the old man appeared to be ferried. Jan agreed. He gave Jan a hook and line and said, “hang onto what you catch.”
Suddenly, the hook dove into the water. Jan pulled in the line to find a water-nymph. She plead to be set free. He held her fast until the sun set and she lost her fish-tail. They quickly found a church to be married.
She was a beautiful bride, flowers on her head; a stunning white Lucy Princess Gown and Arachne shoes by {Le’La} ; the fabulous Charisma Ruby necklace and earrings by Captivating!; lovely Manhattan eyeliner and Paintbox Gloss lipstick by alaskametro<3; and she held in her hand the wonderful purse, that was always full of gold.
Jan and his wife lived happily together; they never wanted for anything and gave freely to all who came.
